Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort

The resort was closed to where we got off our ferry. Easy access to all restaurants and shops the pool had a swim up bar and lots of lounge chairs around the beach. Very beautiful water. Can also rent a scooter to get around the island on.

Not really it was awesome.

Very nice manager and friendly staff. Great location with nice beach access and pool, pleasant walks down the main 4K Beach strip.

Price way too high for room quality. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but satisfactory.

The staff was amazing. We loved outside the bathroom. The hotel is near the beach with a really clear water.They organized a really nice setting for my birthday, thanks a lot for that!

The pool isn’t really deep, so you can’t really swim in it, otherwise it’s a nice place to just chill and have a cocktail.

Place very nice and quiet. Staff very helpful.

Beds are really firm.

The coffee wasn't good, on some days it had a horrible taste and was undrinkable.The fruit was limited - often just dragon fruit and papaya. Rarely banana and I didn't see any pineapple.A lot of the food was asian style breakfast food eg noodles. Although the egg station was good , I only spotted bacon once and that was on someone else's plate.The juice was not fresh it was sweetened squash type drink

The giant millipede that got into my bedroom and was on my pillow. Holes in the bathroom walls so the bathroom was not sealed from insect invasion.The breakfast juice, fruit and coffee

Right at the end of the beach, with fabulous views, comfortable bungalows and peaceful compared to the other end.

Make sure the ferry drops you at their pier .. book in advance.. or it’s a pain to lug a case along the beach. Watch out for foraging monkeys! Furnishings a bit tired but we didn’t mind.

Some staff not friendly to us we don't know why. And the resort staffs, take care us only the day we arrived, but didn't care us when we leave like let us carry suitcase ourselves and not help to check or confirm the boat information for us, just us check by ourselves.

Gorgeous location directly located on a quiet end of the beach. Spacious rooms and comfy bed. The bathroom is a bit dated and could do with some refurbishment but still okay.

Breakfast could have a better selection.They have a pool table, however, it was very old and dirty.

The location was great, in a quiet area of a stunning beach. The staff were nice, and if you asked them for something, they were willing to help out. The rooms were clean and spacious. The private pier is very convenient, especially going back to Sihanoukville, as there is no need to stand in the sun for long. It is a short 10-minute walk on the beach to the long set pier, and there are a number of restaurants on the way.

The swimming pool has a lot of chemicals, and we didn't really use it, but we were happy just to be in the ocean. The room was ok, it is functional, but the decor was not to our taste. Of course, this is just a personal opinion, and I think they do a big effort to keep the grounds in good shape. It would be nice if they offered some information about things to do in the area, but I suppose they would if you ask them.

The fact that it was the other end of the busy backpackers beat.

The beach was so beautiful, the hotel was in a great location. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The views were stunning and the food was ok.

I didn’t think it was 4* standard, more like 3* The reception area was tired and basic. Did not like the concrete everywhere.

The location was excellent and the ferry drops at the hotel pier.

The fact that the accommodation is a duplex rather than single apartment made it very uncomfortable. EVERYTHING that my neighbours said in their suite or DID in their bathroom was totally overheard. The walls are not fully blocked in the bathrooms so mosquitoes were a constant problem along with the neighbour's bathroom noise. The breakfast is just ok, but still a bit of a let down for a "resort" White bread, no jam, cheap fruit - bananas, rice, koolaid juice, etc. Doesn't get much cheaper than that! Overpriced (but admittedly delicious) lunch and dinner choices. The resort is beginning to look slightly tired now. It could use some paint and nails in the railings that are falling down.

Nicely located at the quiet end of the main beach which provided for great beach walks. Lovely Infinity pool and bar area over looked the beach and sea. Staff were great especially Con who made sure guests were always happy. Hotel has its own platform for the speed boat making it easy to access.

Authentic property but could do with a bit of maintenance in places.

Location - A great location as it's on one of the main beaches, Long Set. You can walk from the Long Set pier to the hotel along the beach if you dont have a lot of bags. (Sand is not wheel bag friendly) You can catch a beautiful sunset right from the hotel pool or beach. Lots of restaurants close by to eat and book tours. The hotel has a private pier, so some of the ferry services will drop you right on the hotel's pier. (GTVC ferry service will drop you, but Buva Ferry Service will only drop you on the long set pier)Staff and facilities - Cleaning staff does an amazing job of keeping the beach, hotel grounds, and the rooms very, very clean. The restaurant/bar staff are also very helpful. However, my rooms hair dryer was broken when I arrived, and I asked them twice to help replace it, but that did not happen. There is a restaurant at the hotel.Rooms - We stayed in the farthest rooms but that is not an issue at all so don't worry about booking whatever room. If you have trouble going upstairs, then book a group floor room, and some of the rooms are quite close to the beach, and you can see which ones are on booking.com. The beds were not that comfortable, but that didn't affect our sleep at all. The pillows were comfortable. The room had all the facilities you would need for a beach vacation, including slippers. They clean daily and change towels daily as well. Again, the cleaning crew does a great job. Other things that may help,- Good breakfast spread- Pool bar, pool towels available- A tuk tuk to the hotel was 7 USD from the main pier, but that was not booked by the hotel. Tuk Tuk to the pier from the hotel was 5 USD.- Yes, there are bugs, but it didn't bother us at all. They provide you with an insect repellent for the room. Bring your own repellent for the body. - Don't forget to catch the sunset

The territory was dirty, hotel stuff burned leaves and the smell wasn't nice.

The location was good. And I love the poolbar. Specifically the guy who work there.Nice BBQ on the beach.

Great location, good size rooms. Air conditioning and beautiful setting with a good size pool overlooking the sea.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff who never responded to any of my emails prior to arrival. The atmosphere around the hotel felt odd and unwelcoming.The breakfast was genuinely the worst I’ve ever had. I can’t stress how bad it was…It was self service whilst breakfast staff were there quite happily stood there watching customers dish up cold and stale food (not checking the food on offer was still edible).The rooms were basic but I am ok with that, it was clean and spacious. Would not return to this hotel and would not recommend.

The beach is beautiful!

I could write a long list unfortunately,especially for customers who stay for many days. We stayed only one night and we were happy to leave. We stayed in many places while traveling in Cambodia for 2 weeks but this was definitely the worst placed we stayed. The food at breakfast was just sad! The same with the restaurant, reception and pool area. Everything looks run down! Stuff not trained for giving a good service, sadly! It’s not the standard of Cambodian hotel services in general.Lots of trash in the resort area!!! (See pictures)
